Suggested Recipe - Bamboo Rice Payasam (Phirni)
- Soak 1/2 cup of bamboo rice for 6 hours and in a blender, just pulse it for a second or two.
- In a pressure cooker, cook the rice with 3 cups water for 3 whistles.
- Add Jaggery powder, cardamom powder, ghee and 1 cup coconut milk and cook for 3 mins.
- Add nuts of choice.
- Serve it hot.
